ohmygod!!!

omg omg omg!!! the minister for ********* just came for a visit at my place!ok, i better dun mention names or watsoever...

he happen to be doing his visits at my block...before he came i was home alone and when i was told by one of the person that he's coming soon, my heart was beating very fast! i remember receiving my bursary from him when iw as in J1...but that was just a brief session with him...what happened just now was very personal and different...and the two useless guys in my family gotta spoil it...*disgusted*

anyway yah, i was talking to one of the helpers when my dad came home, and the first stupid thigns he said was "DUN **** FOR ***!"...and he was smiling all the way...SO HAPPY with himself...in was like thinking, "WTH"...no, its not that i am saying everyone MUST support ***, but it is obvious that its just another of his nonsense...then he started ranting and ranting about how he's not benefitting from ***...moments later, the minister reached my unit...he was very polite and sincere, i felt a sense of warnth cause somehow i just feel that he is one of people out there who's doing his utmost best for Singapore...but guess what, my dad gotta spoil it by spouting nonsense again...saying what my brother cannot find job...and all the nonsense...then, my mum and brother came home...WOAHS...and the minister wanted to converse with my brother, to find out more about his job-seeking so far...my brother was so nua, he even went to the fridge to get stuff to eat,all the while oblivious and pretend to be ignorant of whats going on...its only after my mum's nagging then he finally walk to our doorstep to talk to the minister...(-_-")...i was...at a loss of words...:S...and once again, my dad never fails to embarrass me...he started lighting up his cigaratte and smoking...in front of the minister...WHILE talking to the minister...how rude!

i never felt more embarrassed of my family in my entire life...and its not due to the fact that we're from an average family with low income or what, but its the BEHAVIOR...so what if we're not rich?...no one's looking down on us, only my dad is looking down on himself...not being rich is not a crime, but its an absolute shame to behave that way...and this is not the first incident...even in front of friends or relatives he is like this, always trying to look good and thinks he is smart...its even worse that he behaved that way in front of the minister...ifelt so ashamed...i think i will just avoid all the people who were around just now...

i seriously felt that there are many people out there who are sincere and really keen on making Singapore a better palce to live in...perhaps some of you might think that im under the influence from all the social studies textbook or nation-building stuff that i've come across...but no...just ask yourself, how true things are...

by the way, i shook te minister's hand and took photo with him!!! *WOOHOO*!!!

the world will turn WILD.
